# Provenance

Copied verbatim from the java-epic-cli repository (`MANUAL.md`, `manual/*.md`,
`AGENT_GUIDE.md`, `MANUAL_MCP.md`) on 2026-09-08 (chapters 7 and 9 re-synced 21:30Z from 5a3ac15; chapter 9 re-synced 2026-09-09 00:10Z from 8e9f7ea; chapter 12 re-synced 2026-09-09 15:55Z from bde6447). The repository copy supersedes the
`epic-cli.zip` drop of 2026-09-07 (it adds `--no-ai-private` to chapters 8 and 9). The MCP
tool `get_epic_manual` and the `epic-manual://` resources serve exactly these files; nothing
is rewritten. `MASTER_DERIVATIVES.md`, mentioned in chapter 16, is intentionally not included.

To refresh: copy the same four items from the java-epic-cli repository, update this note,
redeploy. Where the manual and the deployed jar's `--help` disagree, the jar wins.
